Travel Restriction Update For Family Members

Effective June 8, 2020, foreign nationals who are immediate

family members of Canadian citizens and permanent residents, and

who do not have COVID-19 or exhibit any signs or symptoms, will be

exempt from the prohibition on entry to Canada if entering to be

with an immediate family member for a period of at least 15 days.

Those that enter Canada with this exemption must quarantine

themselves for 14 days if they do not have symptoms of COVID-19 or

isolate themselves for 14 days if they have symptoms of or

confirmed COVID-19.

The content of this article is intended to provide a general

guide to the subject matter. Specialist advice should be sought
