U.S. Embassy in the Philippines opens new visa center

  • The US Embassy in the Philippines has announced that it will soon open a new Visa Application Center (VAC) in Parañaque City in the Manila metropolitan area.
  • An online appointment system will go into effect on September 28, 2024.
  • Beginning September 28, 2024, immigrant and nonimmigrant visa applicants making appointments will need to schedule a separate appointment at the VAC for photos and fingerprint scanning prior to their interview at the U.S. embassy.
  • Applicants who have existing accounts in the current visa appointment system will be required to sign in to the new system using their already-registered email address to retrieve their user profile, which includes payment receipts and appointment information.
