FIFA PASS — Priority U.S. Visa Appointments for 2026 World Cup Ticket-Holders

Calling all World Cup fans planning to travel to the United States!

If you’ve purchased a ticket to the FIFA World Cup 2026 and will be attending the U.S.-based matches, you may be eligible for the newly announced FIFA PASS (FIFA Priority Appointment Scheduling System).

What is FIFA PASS?

FIFA PASS is a dedicated scheduling system created by the U.S. Department of State and Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) in partnership with the White House Task Force for the tournament. It grants ticket-holders access to prioritized visa interview appointments for nonimmigrant visas (e.g., B-1/B-2) ahead of the event.

What it means for you?

  • A World Cup ticket does not guarantee a visa, but it can move you ahead in the queue for an interview slot. (FIFA World Cup 26)
  • You still must complete the DS-160, attend your visa interview, pass screening and admissibility checks.
  • The U.S. government has assigned over 400 additional consular officers worldwide to help handle anticipated demand from World Cup applicants.
  • This system offers faster interview scheduling, which is key given visa-appointment wait-time challenges at many U.S. embassies and consulates.

Why act now?

  • The tournament kicks off on June 11, 2026 and U.S. visa spots linked to FIFA PASS are expected to fill quickly.
  • Even if you don’t need a visa (e.g., you’re eligible for ESTA), advanced preparation provides peace of mind in a rapidly evolving travel and immigration environment.
  • If you haven’t yet started your visa process or submitted your DS-160, now is the optimal time to engage expert support.
