DOS releases September 2024 Visa Bulletin: Retrogression in most EB-3 Countries
- On August 9, 2024, the U.S. Department of State (DOS) issued its monthly Visa Bulletin for September 2024.
- The bulletin announces a one-year retrogression to December 1, 2020, for all countries under EB-3, except China and India.
- The EB-3 retrogression includes China and India.
- Other updates are as follows:
- EB-1 China and India: No change from last month.
- EB-1 All other countries: All other countries including Mexico and the Philippines remain current.
- EB-2 China and India: No change from last month.
- EB-2 All other countries: All other countries including Mexico and the Philippines remain the same.
- EB-3 China and India: No change from last month.
- EB-3 All other countries: All other countries, including Mexico and the Philippines, will retrogress one year to December 1, 2020.
USCIS will be following the Final Action Dates chart for employment-based visa applications to determine number availability and filing eligibility.
