DOS: National Visa Center – Green Card Backlog Decreased by 4% in May 2024

- The Department of State’s National Visa Center (NVC) announced that there was a 4% drop in the green card backlog from 404,459 in April 2024 to 387, 068 in May 2024.
- The number of applicants scheduled for a green card interview also dropped 6% (from 52,835 in April 2024 to 49,761 in May 2024)
