Uruguay – Grace Period Reduces to 10 Days for Filing Documentation

Applications submitted to the Immigration Office of Uruguay will now only have a grace period of 10 days to present documentation missing that is not considered essential for the visa application. Previously, the grace period allowed was 30 days.

This does not apply to essential documents, which must be submitted at the time of the application, such as a police clearance certificate, corporate documents, and passport. Documents considered to be non-essential are health cards or correction of documents that were not issued correctly.
