United Arab Emirates – Good Conduct Certificate Requirement Suspended
April 09, 2018
Effective 1 April 2018, the UAE has provisionally suspended the requirement to submit a good conduct (police clearance) certificate for a new employment visa application, until further notice.
The requirement to provide a good conduct certificate, in Arabic and attested by the UAE embassy, in support of new employment visa applications, was introduced in February 2018.
Companies hiring foreign nationals to work in the United Arab Emirates should consult their immigration specialist to check the latest document requirements.
