Turkey – Supporting Documents and Registration of Address Update

The Immigration Bureau of Turkey will no longer accept scanned copies of notarized and translated documents. The documents in support of a Residence Permit Application must now be original, and the notary must certify that it is an original document.

The process of registering an address has also changed for a foreign national in Turkey. The modification includes the address registration to be completed within twenty days of signing a house rental contract rather than the previously registration to be done no later than twenty days of arrival in Turkey.
