Singapore – New Work Pass Cards

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) will be introducing a new Work Pass (WP) card that includes a QR code that can be accessed on a mobile application. The app will allow employers and pass holders to check on the status of the work pass with their smartphones. The app can be downloaded here.
The existing WP cards will remain valid and the new cards will be issued once the pass holder renews their WP. The new WP cards will be released in stages, beginning with work permit holders in the Marine Shipyard and Construction Sector beginning September 15, 2017.
