Russia – Work Permits Scrutinized by Russian Authorities

Immigration authorities in Russia are scrutinizing work permit and HQS applications. The requirements that the Russian authorities are scrutinizing work permit applications are as to whether the pages of the labor contracts are bound correctly, enumerated, and verified with a company seal on the back of the last page. The company seal is required to ensure the document is original and not altered in any way.

Labor contracts must also be provided if work permit applications are submitted to the Head Migration Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs or to the ministry’s Moscow Department of Immigration.
