Qatar – Educational Documents to be Attested

Stricter requirements for educational diplomas are now in place for visas that require an attested educational diploma or certificate. If the educational document was attested previously, it is not subject to the new requirements.

To attest the diploma or certificate, the following are required to be presented at the Qatar embassy in the jurisdiction it was issued:

• Original diploma or certificate
• Official transcripts
• Authenticity letter from the university: this letter must include type of admission, degree attained, and the duration to complete the degree.
