Portugal – New Online Visa System

A new online visa system was implemented on October 1, 2018 to simplify the immigration procedure.
The following may be requested online:
- Short Stay (of up to 90 days)
- Temporary Stay visas (more than 90 days) for seasonal work
- University Student visas for Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) nationals
- Residence permit concession requests
- Residence Visa renewals
Appointments may be required for biometric data collection.
