PERU – Some Resident Worker Visa Applicants to Face Stricter Requirements

New legislation from the Ministry of Labor may require certain foreign nationals applying for a Resident Worker Visa to provide proof of at least three years of relevant work experience and that their university diploma is directly related to the position in Peru. Prior to this legislation, proof of only one year of relevant work experience was required. Please note that although these requirements are not yet being officially enforced, their implementation is expected in the near future.
