Malaysia – Enforcement of License C

According to a posting at the Immigration Department, they will soon be enforcing the regulation of the Department of Labour (DOL), Ministry of Human Resources, that all private recruitment agency companies managing job placement for locals and foreigners within and outside Malaysia must obtain a License C. This license is required for any company using the services of a Recruitment Agency to liaise with the Immigration Department.
The enforcement will begin September 1, 2019. The License C can be applied at the respective State DOL for recruitment companies whose purpose is to carry out job placements for locals and foreigners within and outside Malaysia.
