Indonesia – Enforcement of Additional Documents for Long-Term Work Permit

The Indonesian Ministry of Manpower is now requiring additional documents to be submitted for the long-term work permit extension (IMTA). These documents include the following:

-Proof of enrollment in a healthcare and insurance program (BPJS Kesehatan)

-Proof of enrollment in manpower and social security program (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan)

-Foreign employee Indonesia tax obligation main number card (NPWP)

Even though the Ministry of Manpower has these regulations specified, they were not previously enforced until now.
