India/United Kingdom – Biometrics mandatory at VACs in London

Biometric information will be mandatory at all Indian Visa Application Centers in the United Kingdom. Beginning August 19th, individuals applying for employment, journalist, research, student, visit (only applicable for Pakistani nationals), project, and missionary visas must appear in person to submit a facial image and fingerprints. Individuals under 12 or over 70 years old are exempt from submitting their biometric information.
