INDIA – Children Under 16 No Longer Required to Register with FRRO

A notice released by the Indian Bureau of Immigration indicates that children under 16 years of age will no longer be subject to the registration requirement for all foreign nationals staying in India for longer than 180 days. Additionally, parents may visit the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) on behalf of their children under 16 years of age for other visa-related services.
