FRANCE – Violations of Labor Laws May Generate Fines and Suspension of International Agreements

According to a new decree that took effect on December 3, 2015, companies found to guilty of violating employee rights or disregarding their obligations concerning foreign workers can now be fined up to 10,000 EUR per employee and can be temporarily suspended from their international services agreement. An employer may be able to recommence their international services if it resolves the issue that initially caused the suspension.
