FRANCE – Security Checks Enforced Due to Terrorist Attacks

France is under a state of emergency and has imposed restrictive border controls in response to the mass attacks that took place on November 13, 2015 which left 129 people dead. Border controls have been implemented at airports, seaports, train stations and road crossings in France. European Union nationals and third-country nationals should anticipate having to show their proper identification and appropriate documentation.
