CANADA – Jobs to be Advertised through New Job Bank

Effective January 31, 2016, employers will not be able to post new jobs using a job bank account created prior to February 24, 2015. Employers with job bank accounts created before February 24, 2015 will have to open a new job bank account through the Canadian Job Bank website. Employers must have a Canadian social insurance number in order to open a new job bank account. Job postings advertised prior to January 31, 2016 using old job bank accounts will maintain active until the postings expire.

The new Job Bank website provides improved online account management, increased security, enhanced Job Match service, paperless registration, and eliminates translation delays.
