Brazil – Labor Strike of Ministry Workers

Employees from Brazil’s Foreign Ministry began an indefinite labor strike this week over higher wages. The strike will leave the staff at a 30 percent capacity to cover consular assistance and passport issuance. Therefore, employers should expect delays with the processing of all types of visas.
