BELGIUM – Technical Problems Delay Visa Processing

The Belgium Immigration Office announced that they are experiencing technical problems which has affected the normal handling of visa applications. Furthermore, VFS Global has stated that as a result of these technical problems, Belgian embassies in the United Kingdom are incapable of issuing visas until January 2, 2016 and that the Belgian embassy in India and its consulate in Mumbai are also currently incapable of issuing visas until further notice. Foreign nationals may still submit their visa applications but visa issuance is suspended for the affected embassies and consulates until the technical difficulties are resolved.
