UNITED KINGDOM – U.K. Consulate in New York Expands 24-Hour Visa Service

Due to the high demand for same-day “Super Priority” service, the U.K. Consulate in New York is making more appointments available for visa applicants. The waiting time for booking appointments should decrease from the current four week waiting period by increasing the number of appointment openings per day. The number of appointment slots is increasing to eight per day, Monday – Thursday, instead of five.
This change to the popular Super-Priority visa service was announced to take effect on August 19, 2015 and will be made available to tourists, short-stay visa applicants, and certain long-term visa applications who are U.S. residents.
