Christine Szachta

Attorney

Christine Szachta’s commitment to immigration law originated in her appreciation for the contributions that immigrants have made to American life. “I am always impressed and amazed at the efforts made by immigrants to make a better life for themselves and to take advantage of the freedoms afforded to us in the United States.” She summarizes her belief by invoking the words of President John Kennedy, “everywhere immigrants have enriched and strengthened the fabric of American life.”

At FGI, Christine specializes in H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, PERM, EB-1, and EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) cases for clients in the information technology, engineering, and healthcare industries. She takes a proactive approach with her clients and sees the petitioning process as “a collaborative effort where communication is of the utmost importance.”

A graduate of Loyola University in Chicago, Christine earned her J.D. from Valparaiso University’s School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana. She is also a dedicated world traveler, having spent extensive time in Europe, Mexico, Canada, and Guatemala. Christine is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and AILA. In her spare time, she enjoys reading the classics.
