UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – Work Permit Applications May Be Submitted In-Country

Immigration authorities in the United Arab Emirates are now permitting foreign nationals to first enter the country using short-stay visit visas, submit work permit applications and if approved, receive their work permits without having to leave the country. This process has been recently eased in an effort to reduce the current processing delays brought forth by the recently amended work permit rules.
