SOUTH KOREA – Fee Increases for Most Immigration Applications

Beginning January 1, 2014, South Korea has increased the fees for visa and immigration related applications and services. The following are the revised fees:

Permitting activities outside of temporary stay status 120,000 60,000
Change/addition of workplace 120,000 60,000
Change of temporary stay status 100,000 50,000
Change of temporary stay status to F-5 visa (Permanent Resident) 200,000 50,000
Extending period of stay 60,000 30,000
Initial F-6 visa (Spouse of Korean National) 40,000 20,000
Extension of F-6 visa 30,000 20,000
Reissuance of Alien Registration Card (ARC), including Resident Registration Card 30,000 20,000
Issuance of miscellaneous documents for all visa and immigration-related matters (per copy) 2,000 1,000
