NEW ZEALAND – Online Visa Application System is now in Effect

New Zealand has launched an online system called Immigration ONLINE for business, work, or student visa applicants to apply and pay for visas. Foreign nationals may also use the online system to upload supporting documentation online while applying for a visa or paying visa fees. The same visa fees apply for both online and paper applications.
The new online system should produce faster processing times compared to the average processing times for paper applications. These new eVisas are also expected to become available to visa-exempt work visa applicants abroad. However, some foreign nationals must still submit paper applications including those traveling with dependents.
