Czech Republic – Certain Czech Embassies Close Appointment System

Effective September 1, 2019, the Czech Immigration legislation will soon be implementing a new quota system for work permits issued to foreign nationals outside of the European Union. For this reason, some Czech Embassies have stopped issuing appointment requests for submission of business applications for an employee card and long-term visa since they may interfere with the new quota system.

The following Embassies have temporarily stopped issuing new appointments in the following locations: Kyiv, Lviv, Minsk, Mosco, New Delhi, Saint Petersburg, and Yekaterinburg. The appointment system will reopen in August 2019 for available dates in September 2019.
